As Planning Officer, you will ensure the smooth flow of our client’s production operations by translating sales forecasts and order intake into clear, executable production plans. You’ll collaborate closely with Production, Purchasing and Logistics to guarantee optimal stock levels of both raw materials and finished goods. Internal training on company-specific systems and processes will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly production schedules, balancing machine capacity, workforce availability and material supply
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products; trigger replenishment as needed
- Act as primary liaison between Production Planning and Logistics teams
- Identify bottlenecks early, adjust plans and coordinate corrective actions
- Convert sales and planned orders into production/process orders in the MRP system
- Release and update orders in SAP PP/MM modules; maintain purchasing master data
- Propose and implement continuous-improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes

We’re seeking a structured, analytical planner who thrives in a fast-paced international environment and enjoys solving complex scheduling challenges.

Must-have Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent by experience
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data collection and interpretation
- Hands-on experience with SAP (PP/MM modules strongly preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (lookup formulas, pivot tables, macros)
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and resilience under pressure
- Clear communicator, able to coordinate multiple stakeholders
