We are looking for a vehicle mechanic for a workshop in Zaventem. You will work for a top employer and a well-known global vehicle manufacturer.
As a mechanic you are responsible for vehicle testing activities.
Your tasks:
-You replace engine components and vehicle components, ensuring correct functionality and a smooth engine start for testing
-You check and align wheels on both axes within specified tolerances, and handle tyre replacement and balancing.
-You download and flash software provided by engineers onto the Engine ECU using dedicated equipment.
-You prepare and install various sensors and data acquisition systems.
-You perform welding tasks.
-You test drive vehicles to confirm proper behavior after parts replacement.
-You apply foil or tape masking to prototype vehicles based on project standards.
-You handle transmission and clutch replacements.
-You troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical or electrical issues.

Your profile:
You have a degree in automotive, mechanics, electricity, or electronics, ...
You have experience in basic vehicle maintenance (wheels, brake, battery & fluids)
You have a good knowledge of English
You have a drivers license B
You are a teamplayer
